The Collaborative

The Collaborative: For local Jewish organizations

The Jewish Talent Project is committed to building excellent workplace culture. Our local professionals who work in Jewish organizations deserve nothing less. The Collaborative is for organizations that share our vision and that aspire to be exemplars: workplaces that set the standard for excellence in the Jewish communal sector and that are known throughout the community as such.

After years of research, meetings with local and national talent experts, deep engagement with industry leader Leading Edge’s employee survey data and expertise, study of models in other Jewish communities, and direct conversations with dozens of CEOs and employees across the Greater Washington region, we have developed a clear point of view about what ideal workplaces look like — and what it takes to get there.

The Collaborative is how we put that knowledge into action. We are building the resources, thought leadership, and community of practice to help workplaces reach new heights, increase impact, and attract talented professionals. And we are inviting the organizations most committed to this work to join us.

The Collaborative is a two-year commitment for locally-focused organizations and their leaders, both lay and professional, who are dedicated to being models of excellence in the sector. JTP provides the framework, the curriculum, the expertise, and the peer community. Participating organizations bring the internal leadership and the willingness to do the work.

Collaborative cohorts will tap into best-in-class resources, learning sessions, and coaching to elevate their talent practices, workplace culture, and employee experiences.

This is a compact — a shared commitment between JTP and participating organizations to pursue excellence together. Organizations that join the Collaborative will be held to a high standard. In return, they will receive JTP’s full investment as they work toward recognition as exemplars: the best places to work in the Jewish communal sector.
